Acceptable use policy

Updated: September 2026

This is an English translation. If it differs from the Albanian version, the Albanian version applies.

This policy sets out what may not be done with Veturas. It applies to every dealership that uses the service and to everyone it gives access to. It is part of the Terms of service.

Content that is not allowed

  • Vehicles that are stolen, seized, or that you have no right to sell.
  • Misleading data about a car: altered mileage, hidden damage or accident history, false origin, false service history or false equipment.
  • Listings for cars that do not exist or are not for sale, used only to attract calls.
  • Photos, texts or logos you do not have the right to use.
  • Personal data of other people published without a legal basis, such as documents with the owner's name visible in public photos.
  • Content that is illegal, threatening, discriminatory or intended to deceive.
  • Child sexual abuse material. We suspend the account immediately and report it to the authorities.

Buyer data

Use the enquiries that come through Veturas only to answer that enquiry and for the sale that follows from it. Do not sell or hand these contacts to others, and do not add them to advertising lists without their consent. Respect a buyer who asks not to be contacted.

Messages

Veturas does not send mass messages. Do not use data from Veturas to send unsolicited advertising by email, SMS or WhatsApp, and do not import purchased contact lists into the dashboard.

Technical misuse

  • Uploading malware or files intended to harm visitors.
  • Scanning for vulnerabilities, load testing or overloading the service without our written permission. For security reports, follow the Security page.
  • Trying to reach another dealership's data, or bypassing the limits and protections of the service.
  • Sharing access with people outside your dealership, or reselling the service.
  • Automated copying of other dealerships' websites through our infrastructure.

What we expect from you

Keep your passwords to yourself, give access only to people who need it, remove access for people who leave, and tell us straight away if you suspect someone has entered your account.

Reporting a listing

Anyone can report a listing or content they believe is illegal. Email info@veturas.com with the subject "Illegal content" and include:

  • the exact address of the page or listing;
  • why you believe it is illegal;
  • your name and email (not required for reports of child sexual abuse material);
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the report is accurate and complete.

This process follows Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act. We confirm receipt, and when we act on a listing we tell the dealership the reason, in line with Article 17.

How we act

We respond in steps and only as far as needed:

  • we write to the dealership and explain the problem;
  • we give 48 hours to fix it;
  • if it is not fixed, we hide the listing concerned;
  • if the problem continues or is repeated, we suspend the public website.

We act immediately, without prior notice, when there is child sexual abuse material, clear evidence of a stolen vehicle, active fraud, malware, or a threat to the security of the service or of other dealerships.

Appeals

If you disagree with a decision, reply to the email we sent. The appeal is reviewed by a person, not an automated system, and we reply within 2 working days.

Requests from authorities

We hand over data only on the basis of a valid legal order and only as much as it requires. Where the law allows, we tell the dealership before we do.

Changes

We give 30 days' notice of changes to this policy by email, except for changes that the law requires straight away.
